it's all over. Afridi couldn't have done much about this. Short ball, pulled in front of square, and Behardien takes a diving catch at deep midwicket

Quotes from presentation
"I have enjoyed it here," says Colin Ingram, the Man of the Match. "Just glad to be contributing again. Always great to be back in Bloem. Just enjoyed batting with some of the other guys, who helped me along the way. AB looked like he had his game together, I fed off that, and we ran well. Magic knock from Farhaan. The boys are saying this is the best I have played for OSuth Africa. There are one or two knows where I had to grind it out, but I thoroughly enjoyed it today."
"Very proud of the boys," says AB de Villiers. "Really excites me to see the boys perform like that. The Pakistan bowlers bowled really well up front. That opening partnership freed the middle order up. Colin played a great game, congrats to that. We haven't played great ODI cricket of late. It has been worrying and frustrating. I know this is just one game, but it is a step in the right direction. I know the public in South Africa wants consistency, and we will work on that. I am proud the way bowlers came out and worked in partnerships, picking up wickets at regular intervals. Rory is a very mature performer. he knows his game inside-out. The whole bowling unit was outstanding. It was great to see Ryan perform so well in front of a home crowd. A big hand for the crowd for turning up in high numbers. I know it means a lot to Ryan."
"The way the ball was moving," says Misbah-ul-Haq, "270-280 would have been a par score. The way it was seaming in the start with the little bit of moisture, we should have exploited the conditions better. They kept the wickets for the first 10-15 overs, which was the key. We were looking at 270-280; it could have been a good game then. We need to work a little bit on death bowling and fielding. Too many easy balls and fielding lapses today. We can improve. We can cut down 30-40 runs easily. Then we really have a chance."
That's as comprehensive as ODI wins get. South Africa were more industrious and hands on than Pakistan, which shows in the number of singles and twos they took, and also in the bowling changes of both the sides. Hang around for quotes from the presentation
makes room and drills a low full toss to mid-off
length ball, outside off, beats his defensive push
and he dabs the fifth ball of the over for a single
bye bye ball. This is out of the ground. Huge. That is massive. Slower ball, and he swings it over long-on, into the parking lot. Has he damaged any cars there?
Adeel: "Are there any bonus points for not using the review?"
slower short ball, Afridi is too early into the pull, is hit on the glove
taron : "I genuinely think Ajmal didn't know Pakistan had any reviews left."
drilled down to long-on. Turns down the single
backs away to loft this low full toss over the bowler's head
defended off the front foot
and he bowls a wide down leg. was going for the yorker, I suppose
Junaid Khan to face the hat-trick ball
Kleinveldt is on a hat-trick, and I am surprised why they aren't reviewing this one. They can't take that one home, may as well use it up. This is not plumb. Length ball, seaming in, seemingly past the inside edge, but has this hit him outside the line of off? First of all, there was a huge inside edge on this one. I really wonder why they didn't review this
Saeed Ajmal to bat now
another short ball gets a wicket. This is chest-high, on off, he looks to pull, is late into it, and Kleinvelt accepts a simple return lob
angling in, concedes a leg-bye
that's No. 300. No one has ever hit so many ODI sixes. Short again, and this time he gets a sweeter connection and sends it sailing over deep midwicket
nearly gets No. 300. Short, into the body, pulled off the front foot, lands just before the square-leg fence
Right. Boom Boom on strike. On 299 career sixes. ready to move into unchartered territory: 300 sixes
short of a length, on the pads, worked wide of deep square for a couple
Umar Gul is the new man in
slower ball gets him. It's Malik who has fallen before Afridi. Doesn't pick the slower ball wide outside off, he goes after it, and all he manages is a thick outside edge to short third man
Wouter: "If Pakistan change tack, and view the rest of the game as a T20 after a top order batting collapse, then they are the perfect team for pulling this off."
short of a length, holds its line in front of off, cramps him up
Paul: "That six is worth staying up for in itself. What a lovely strike. Apart from Gilchrist, I can't remember a cleaner hitter of the ball for such a consistently long career."
short of a length, middle and off, pushed with soft hands for a single
length ball, middle and leg, driven to long-on
Both third man and fine leg are up. Expect a lot of slower balls
