Full commentary

You can read more about it in my fellow commentator, Danyal Rasool's report. Thanks for tuning in. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. See you soon as cricketing action continues across formats, around the globe and it'll all be covered here on ESPNcricinfo. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, on behalf of Danyal, and our scorer, K Vairavan.

Overall, the series ends with a 2-1 scoreline which is fair. The games were one-sided but were contested in good spirit. Both teams have their issues, dependency on Chamari and Kavisha for the visitors. Inoka's a good prospect for the future. For Pakistan, it's inability to play the power game with the bat. Diana Baig needs to be more effective but she's fit, hits lengths and can only go upwards. Tuba Hassan not playing was a surprise.

Bismah Maroof, Pakistan Captain: We didn't have a good day today but they outclassed us. We were not relaxed, we leaked runs. They played well and capitalized. We have tried different combinations and are better prepared and more confident for the Ireland tri-series and the Commonwealth games.

Chamari Athapaththu, Sri Lanka Captain and POTM for 101 and 2 for 20: Happy with my and the team's performances. We have a series in India which is good. We came after 15 years, adapting was tough. But we're happy. I love Pakistan, I'd thank the PCB for having us. [Future] India have a tough team but if we play well, we should go well.

Sidra Ameen is the Player of the series for 218 runs at 72.66: When I dedicated my award last time, it was my parents' anniversary which made it special.

Apart from Chamari's heroics and the run outs, Oshadi got a couple, the spinners used the angles and the slow pitch effectively by looking to turn the ball. They didn't flight it as much as the hosts but hit full lengths and took wickets. The run-scoring was never fluent after the openers left. In the end, the burden of a good score turned out to be too much for the hosts. It's tempting to wonder what could have been had a performance like this come earlier.

4:08 pm: Sri Lankan fielders have wide smiles, the coaching staff is happy too. Pakistan were blown away today on the back of Athapaththu's century in the first innings, she joined in with the ball too taking out Sidra Ameen, who's been in scintillating form, and Nida Dar, the hard-hitter. The run-out bug bit the Pakistani team after the visitors suffered from it so far in the series. It was Bismah's quick running but a misjudged run that started it, she fell soon. Aliya and Omaima tried to rebuild, Omaima had a lucky escape when a hit-wicket was called not out and with the services of the third umpire not available, the type-2 error could not be rectified. Aliya carried on after Omaima lost her wicket while trying the reverse. There weren't any significant contributions otherwise with the bat.

Ranaweera to Anam Amin, OUT

Edged and taken! Anam tried to heave the full ball outside off to the leg side but got a thin edge, the keeper took it well and started celebrations.

Beaten on the outside edge. It was full, flighted and wide, the batter went through with the pushy open-faced drive and the ball spun away

Top-edge off the sweep falls in front of short fine leg! It was full and was hit hard but the lack of pace from the bowler led it to not carry.

Ranasinghe to Aliya Riaz, OUT

Aliya holes out to long-off! She came down track continuing the trend of the last few balls, it was wide and in the slot, she went through with the shot. But the connection was not good enough and long-off did not have to move too much.

Down the track again, slogs it and the full ball outside off allowed room for her to flog it down the ground. Neither long-on nor long-off had a chance of cutting it off.

Ranaweera to Aliya Riaz, 1 run, OUT

Another run out! This was at the non-striker's end, the throw came from long-off after Aliya came down the track and smoked it over the bowler's end. The fielder ran quickly to her right and threw it, it ballooned on the bounce but the second was not on. So, the bowler taking it and whipping off the bails while Baig dove was enough. Third run out of the innings. The trend seems to have switched between teams.
