44b to AM Rossington, hit on the back leg, bang in front! Rossington looking to sweep and up goes the finger... he consults with Lawrence, but won't review. Full and straight does the job for SCurran, struck him in front of middle and leg with nowhere else for the ball to go but Timbersville. 58/3
85b to RS Bopara, full and straight, salmon and trout! Top-level celebrappeal from Curran. Bopara reviews but this is hitting middle stump about two feet up. Static footwork, missed with a flick to leg, and the ball crashed into his back leg: ball-tracking says "That's a bingo!" Smothered in plum sauce, Bopara is on his way. 110/6
92b to JA Thompson, slower ball, spooned into the covers! Backing away, Thompson had to swing for the fences, but only manages to send a dolly of a catch up into the off side. Loopy offcutter from SCurran, nicely bowled. 118/7

6b to BR McDermott, on the money second ball! Bowled by the googly! Hatzoglou roars and punches the air in celebration, Invincibles have their first. Fizzed down just outside off and McDermott, who probably has seen Hatzoglou in the BBL, still hasn't-a-glou about how to play him. Sweeps and loses his off stump. 8/1

17b to JP Inglis, smacked... straight to deep square leg! Inglis had looked fidgety, hadn't managed to get any of his shots away, and when he finally connects with one it goes down the throat of one of the two men out! Milnes strikes with his second ball. 13/2

53b to DW Lawrence, reverse-slapped... and plucked out of thin air! Milnes with the blinding grab at backward point! Lawrence really got hold of the shot, but Milnes had time to anticipate it, took a couple of steps to his right and then stuck up a hand. The ball stuck, and Lawrence is off. 66/4

26b to JM Cox, grip and spin, hits top of middle! Dawson strikes with a beauty, tossed up and then turning with Cox stuck on the crease. Spirit didn't manage a wicket in the powerplay but have one from the first ball with the field spread. 33/1

67b to RR Rossouw, winds up for the big hit, picks out deep point! Ellis makes the breakthrough, with Rossouw looking to break this chase down the back nine. Bowled into the pitch and he sliced his golf swing, never enough to trouble the long boundary, and Lawrence pouches it safely. 91/2

72b to WG Jacks, miscued into the leg side... Jacks falls! Stepping away and looking to go over the short side, but he skies it towards deep midwicket. Safely taken by Inglis running in, and Spirit still have a glimmer here. 95/3
85b to SM Curran, goes high into the night sky again, taken at long-on... Crane has to juggle it while stepping out of bounds! He was right on the rope, and nearly overbalanced, tossing the ball up in order to put his foot over and then hop back in. In fact, he might just have brushed the boundary marker with his heel... But the third ump is happy, and Curran has to go. 120/4
