An aggressive unbeaten century from Delhi captain Rajat Bhatia, and a half-century from Milind Kumar, led them to a four-wicket victory over Jammu and Kashmir in Bilaspur. Chasing 246, they were in trouble at 59 for 4, before a 110-run stand between Bhatia and Milind revived their chase. Bhatia stayed until the end to see his side through in the 47th over.
J&K's innings revolved around Ian Dev Singh's unbeaten century, and a knock of 50 from Ahmed Bandy. A 98-run fourth-wicket stand between Ian Dev and Manik Gupta helped them reach 245.
Services beat Himachal Pradesh by three wickets in the final over in a close match in Nadaun. Services' chase of 277 was led by a 94-ball 96 from middle-order batsman Yashpal Singh, and contributions from Soumya Swain and Rajat Paliwal. Yashpal and Swain, with a 113-run stand, had helped them recover from a tricky 62 for 3 in the 18th over. But when they separated, Services still faced a tough task of scoring 102 runs off 89 deliveries. Paliwal and Yashpal scored 89 of those runs in 12.5 overs, but three quick wickets tightened the chase. A six from No. 8 Irfan Khan eventually helped them get home in the second ball of the final over.
Half-centuries from Rishi Dhawan and Amit Kumar had given HP a solid base in their innings, and a 28-ball 47 from Sumeet Verma towards the end got them to 276.
Punjab spinner Rajwinder Singh and seamer Siddarth Kaul ran through Haryana's line-up to secure a ten-wicket win in Dharamsala. Kaul, who took 3 for 33, dismissed the top order cheaply, and Rajwinder took four wickets besides effecting two run-outs as Haryana were bowled out for 152. Punjab's openers, Ravi Inder Singh and Chandan Madan, achieved the target in 29 overs, scoring 70 and 69 respectively.
Haryana's Rahul Dewan, who scored 60, was the only batsman who provided resistance in their innings, in which six batsmen scored in single digits.
