5:46pm Lancashire and Hampshire take on one another in the final of the T20 Blast in an hour from now. Andrew Miller will be on hotseat soon. Hope to catch you around with us for that. For now, that's all from me, Sudarshanan, and Ekanth! Thanks for joining us!

Tom Prest, player of the match: "Gone well the last couple of games. Good to get the win after last year's disappointment. Just play with freedom. Obviously Vince moved up and batted well with McDermott and momentum worked. Can't wait for the finals, that's what dreams are made of. Hopefully we can go there and win it."

James Vince, Hampshire captain: "After ten overs we set out to get 200 but it became a bit harder to score. The toss is not the be all, end all but we saw 200 get chased down. A few question whether we should bat first but we did well."

Tom Abell, Somerset captain: "I thought they got 10-15 more than we would have liked. But we were confident and have chased very well throughout. With their innings in mind, it was important to have partnerships. Very proud of the team. We had a great group stage and performed well in quarters but that counts very little."

5:37pm A reversal of last year's semi-final result! Somerset will have to return empty-handed after the run they have had. Their batting failed when it mattered, sadly. Lancashire, earlier today, showed the way to chase a tall total and the key was to have a quick start for one of the top-order batters. But Smeed and Banton both fell rather early and it was not to be the Rossouw show today. Ellis' change of pace and mixing of lengths helped Hampshire make 190 seem much, much more. And not to forget the wily spin bowling from Dawson, too. A complete performance from Hampshire to avenge last year's loss.

W
Ellis to Siddle, OUT

Another slower one, another wicket, another clean bowled. Hampshire set date with Lancashire for the T20 Blast final, in under an hour from now. Siddle has no clue about it and misses it to see the bails light up. A 37-run win for them.

Peter Siddle b Ellis 0 (1b 0x4 0x6 1m) SR: 0

W
Ellis to Brooks, OUT

Slower ball, full in line of the stumps. Brooks fails to pick it and looks to smash it over the off side. Misses and is clean bowled.

Jack Brooks b Ellis 1 (3b 0x4 0x6 2m) SR: 33.33

Afeef: "Well, it is curtains for Somerset. But they have had an excellent season. Rilee Rossouw in particular was phenomenal. 2nd highest run scorer, 2nd highest strike rate (min 100 runs), most sixes, most fifty plus scores."

19.1
Ellis to Brooks, no run

Full and straight, swing and a miss as the ball passes past leg stump.

Full on middle and leg, hit to long-on for one.

Brooks

How well have Hampshire bowled. At the halfway mark it felt as if 190 was a tad below part, but nope!

W
Wood to Goldsworthy, OUT

Timber! Goldsworthy moves across anticipating a full and wide one. But Wood fires one full on middle to end his stay. Superb bowling.

Lewis Goldsworthy b Wood 2 (3b 0x4 0x6 2m) SR: 66.66

2
Wood to Goldsworthy, 2 runs

Full and outside off, slices it to the right of deep backward point for two.

18.3
Wood to Goldsworthy, no run

Full and outside off, misses the heave across the line.

41 from 10 should be a bit too much for Goldsworthy

Wood to Lammonby, 1 run, OUT

Curtains for Lammonby? TV umpire is summoned for a check. It was a short ball that he pulled towards deep square leg. Always wanted a second but a good throw coupled by the wicketkeeper's regulation work means that he is well short of the crease.

Tom Lammonby run out (Crane) 34 (27b 2x4 1x6 46m) SR: 125.92

Around the stumps to the lefty.

Wood to van der Merwe, 1 run

Very full outside off, moves across and looks to access the on side but gets it off the edge to deep point.

Ellis to van der Merwe, FOUR runs

Van der Merwe says it's not over yet. Makes room and thumps the full ball over extra cover for four. 50 off 17...

Ellis to bowl his penultimate. Lancashire vs Hampshire, then? Somerset anybody?

Off-pace length ball well wide of off, mistimes it to cover.

Roelof van der Merwe to face next.

Wood to Green, 1 run, OUT

Harakiri and that's curtains! On a length angling away, reaches out to slap it through cover. There was a confusion regarding the second run as both batters almost had a mid-pitch discussion. The throw wasn't the best but McDermott collects it well away from the stumps and underarms it to catch Green short despite the dive.

Ben Green run out (Ellis) 9 (5b 0x4 1x6 6m) SR: 180

Low full toss angling away, sliced towards short third for a single.
