It's time for the match presentations
Rohit Sharma: It was an exceptional performance with the ball. There was quite a bit for the seamers upfront. Even for the spinners, if they put in the revs, it was spinning. There was a little bit in every department. We used the conditions well, were in trouble chasing. We knew it won't be easy given the seamers they have, but there's some learning for us there, what we should do as a batting unit when conditions are in our favour. Oshane Thomas is a really exciting talent without doubt, good height plus that jump he takes, if he bowls in the right areas, it won't be easy for any batsman in the world to counter that. He's really talented, also has the advantage of height which gives him the extra edge. I wish him the best in the future.
[On Krunal and Khaleel]: "very very exciting talent. Krunal, I've seen him closely playing for Mumbai Indians. He likes the situation where the team expects him to perform. He was the one who asked me 'I want to bowl to Pollard, and got him out.' When you see guys accept challenges and bail the team out, it's exciting as captain or as a team management."
Kuldeep Yadav is Man of the Match for his figures of 3 for 13.
Carlos Brathwaite: I don't think we applied ourselves. We were either too defensive or too attacking. We could've scored 130-140, which would've been a winning total, had we kept some wickets for the back end. As young bunch of guys, we want to be fearless. We have our chance to do something for West Indies, we have a task to get to the standards where we should be. [On Oshane Thomas]: don't know his long-term plans, had a few chats with him and he's in the best place he could be. He understands the opportunities he has, he has to continue to get fitter and stronger. The world is at his feet, it's for West Indies to help him become another Joel Garner or Michael Holding.
10.17pm When Krunal Pandya walked in, it wasn't as if there was a mountain of pressure. It still needed some guts to reverse paddle your third delivery on debut. He came in and finished off the small chase easily. This has been a debut worth celebrating: four miserly overs and a wicket, followed by a cameo. Yet, this could've gone the other way if Dinesh Karthik and Manish Pandey didn't stem that top-order collapse. Oshane Thomas was hostile in his opening spell, clocking 149kph thunderbolts. Can only wonder what may have been had West Indies set India close to 145 or 150.
Dinesh Karthik: "It's a good wicket, there's a lot for the bowlers. This is good to bat on too, but there's always something for the bowlers. I think we shouldn't get too carried away by the score, the balls they bowled to Rohit and Shikhar was special. Going down the order, I wanted to just absorb the pressure and try to help the team win, that's my role. As a senior player, I keep telling myself, need to absorb pressure, but at the same time play positive cricket, make sure I bat through and take on the bowlers. Didn't need to bat at a 150 strike-rate in this game."
full on the pads and he's picked this away beautifully. The timing is magnificent. Lovely use of his wrists to hit this in front of square.

flicks this low full toss to deep midwicket for an easy single.
punches this length delivery to cover.
appeal for caught behind as Karthik looks to play a delicate little late cut. No more than a polite enquiry from the bowler, Ramdin didn't seem too convinced. In the end, it looks like they just took a review because they had one. Snicko says there was absolutely nothing.
how adventurous! Drifts a length ball away and Krunal plays a delicate reverse paddle to beat short thitd man.
steps out to hit this back hard to the bowler, who only gets some hand on it as he palms it towards long-on. There's a misfield in the deep, Pollard at long-off has the presence of mind to put in a dive to stop.
gets right to the pitch of the ball and works this down to long-on for an easy single.

this is a superb catch, superb delivery. Pandey jabs at the delivery that grips and hits him high on the bat. Pierre runs spontaneously to his left and then dives full length forward to complete the catch
dip and turn off a length, Pandey is solid in defence.
overpitched, he drills this to sweeper cover.
