118.80 Jonny Bairstow's average in Tests in 2016; he has made 594 runs this year in just eight innings, including three scores of 140-plus. Bairstow's unbeaten 167 in this innings is his highest Test score, beating his previous best of 150 not out, which came in Cape Town earlier this year. Bairstow's is also the second highest score by a wicketkeeper in Tests at Lord's. He finished just one run short of Clyde Walcott's unbeaten 168 in 1950.
144 Runs added by Bairstow and Chris Woakes, the highest partnership for England's seventh wicket against Sri Lanka in Tests. Ian Bell and Matt Prior had added 109 in the second innings of the Kandy Test in 2007 which was the previous highest.
164 The previous highest by an England wicketkeeper in Tests at home, by Alec Stewart against South Africa at Old Trafford in 1998. Bairstow's unbeaten 167 bettered that. England were bowled out with Bairstow stranded just seven runs short of overhauling Stewart's 173 against New Zealand in Auckland, which is the highest score by an England wicketkeeper in Tests.
108 The partnership between Dimuth Karunaratne and Kaushal Silva, Sri Lanka's second highest for any wicket in this series: Dinesh Chandimal and Rangana Herath had added 116 for the seventh wicket in the second innings in Durham. It is also Sri Lanka's first 50-plus stand for the first wicket in this series - their previous partnerships yielded 10, 10, 10 and 38 runs.
2011 The last time both Sri Lankan openers scored 50 or more in a Test innings outside Asia. That was also at Lord's, when Tharanga Paranavitana (65) and Tillakaratne Dilshan (193) added 207 for the first wicket, helping Sri Lanka score 479 in reply to England's 486. Overall, it is the 22nd such instance for Sri Lanka, and the seventh outside Asia.
4 Fifty-plus scores for Silva in nine Test innings against England, all of them in overseas games. His unbeaten 79 here is his highest of the lot. Three of his half-centuries have come in three innings at Lord's - his lowest score here is 57. Among Sri Lankan batsmen, only Mahela Jayawardene has more 50-plus scores in Lord's Tests.
66 Runs scored by Woakes in England's first innings - his highest score in Tests and his maiden fifty. Woakes' previous highest was the 39 he hit in England's first innings in Durham. This was Woakes' 27th fifty-plus score in first-class cricket. He has made 4542 first-class runs at an average of 36.92, including nine hundreds.
738 Runs made by England's last five wickets in this series, compared to 554 by their top five. While England have had two century stands and five half-century stands for their sixth and lower wickets in this series, their top half has put up only four fifty stands. The last time when England's last five wickets outscored their top half in a series was against the same opposition, in 2014, when their first five wickets contributed 679 runs and their last five made 777 runs.
4/81 Rangana Herath's figures, his best in 12 Test innings in England. His previous best was also at Lord's - 4 for 95 in 2014.
14 Test wickets for Herath at Lord's, twice as many as the next best for Sri Lanka. Herath's 14 wickets have come in three Tests here, at an average of 33.07.
