Cricket Australia today confirmed all venues for the Pura and ING Cup competitions for 2003-04 with local and regional grounds around Australia to host several matches this season.
The Junction Oval in Melbourne and the Newcastle Sports Ground will host Pura Cup matches this season.
The Victorian Bushrangers play the Queensland Bulls (11-14 November) and the Western Warriors (19-22 November) at the Junction Oval, while the New South Wales Blues host the Bushrangers at the Newcastle Sports Ground (9-12 January).
Meanwhile, the ING Cup includes six matches to be played at non-traditional venues this season, four of those games involving the New South Wales Blues.
The Blues take on the Victorian Bushrangers at the Bradman Oval in Bowral (26 October), the Western Warriors at North Sydney Oval (2 November), the Queensland Bulls at Telstra Stadium (17 January) and the Southern Redbacks at Drummoyne Oval (15 February).
Of those four New South Wales matches, all will be televised on the Nine Network except the day-night match at Telstra Stadium between the New South Wales Blues and the Queensland Bulls.
The Tasmanian Tigers also play two matches away from their traditional base at Bellerive Oval - hosting the Victorian Bushrangers at Devonport Oval (4 January) and the Western Warriors at the NTCA Ground in Launceston (1 February).
