ST. John's (Antigua), May 28: Pakistan vice-captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was
fined 50% of his match fee by match referee Peter Burge for showing
dissent after being adjudged caught behind by local umpire Billy
Doctrove.
"Inzamam didn't look good on television (after the decision). He was
lingering. The fine would have been less had he not had a record of
previous offence," the former Australian player said in a statement.
Inzamam, who scored 68, was involved in an innings building
partnership with Youhana when he was given marching orders. Inzamam
stood at his crease before disappearing in the dressing room at a
snail's pace.
