Super Challenge 2000 The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) today announced final playing and ticketing details for the historic one-day international series, officially named Super Challenge 2000, to be played against South Africa under the roof at Colonial Stadium in Melbourne during August.
ACB Chief Executive, Malcolm Speed, announced that the matches on Wednesday 16 and Friday 18 August will be played as day/night matches starting at 2:30pm while the match on Sunday 20 August will be a day match starting at 10:00am.
All games will be played with the roof shut.
The ACB also revealed a simple, four-tiered ticketing structure with the adult ticket prices starting at $25.00 and going up to $70.00 for the most expensive seat in the stadium.
A family ticket package (two adults and two children) will also be available from $50.00 (including GST).
Tickets will go on sale to the public from 9am on Monday 15 May through Ticketmaster.
"In developing our ticketing packages we have been driven by two thoughts, simplicity and value for money," Mr Speed said.
"The four-tiered ticketing system is the same as we use for the MCG while the prices are in line with the cost of a ticket for a match during summer.
"After being in South Africa and seeing the great support its team received, I am sure that we will see Australians equally keen to get behind the Australian side," said Mr Speed.
