The agreement details a number of on-field and off-field measures to assist Bangladesh become a stronger cricket country.
These measures, which have been devised at the request of and in consultation with BCB President Mr Saber Chowdhury MP, include:

  • the acceptance of two Bangladesh cricketers each year at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy and assistance for the establishment of Bangladesh's own cricket academy;
  • a coach and umpire exchange program that will see Australian coaches and umpires work with Bangladesh officials;
  • a management exchange program that will see one ACB manager travel to the BCB each year and advise on his/her area of expertise; and

  • The implementation of these measures will take place over the next five years.
