England has recovered from a dreadful start to its run chase in the second tri-series one-day cricket final against Australia at the MCG.
Needing 230 runs to win, England were 3-62 off 15 overs after being 3-20 at one stage.
Michael Vaughan and Nasser Hussain have steadied the ship for England, while the temperature has dropped by more than 10 degrees after reaching 43 degrees while Australia was batting.
Earlier, Australian bowler Brad Hogg starred with the bat, top-scoring with an unbeaten 71 in his side's 7-229.
England must win tonight to keep the best-of-three finals series alive, having lost the opening match to Australia by 10 wickets.
If England wins, the deciding final will be played in Adelaide on Monday.
