Glenn McGrath was named the FICA PricewaterhouseCoopers International Cricketer of the Year 2000 at The Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 3rd July 2000.
Brett Lee was voted FICA PricewaterhouseCoopers International Young Cricketer of the Year
The awards dinner on the evening of Monday 3rd July, following the England Vs West Indies Test Match at Lord's, celebrated a thrilling year in international cricket.
The nominees for the International Cricketer and International Young Cricketer awards are players whose consistently excellent performances have led to high placings in the PricewaterhouseCoopers Cricket Ratings for Test and One-Day international cricket over the last year.
Ted Dexter chaired the voting panel consisting of international experts representing the Test playing countries to decide the award winners.
