The following are the arrangements for the West Indies and Pakistan teams on 12 March:
- The venue for Monday's practice and pre-match media activity for West Indies and Pakistan has changed from Sabina Park to Kensington Cricket Club. The media arrangements remain unchanged in that a representative from both teams will still be available but that will now take place at Kensington..
- Details of all media contacts for the 16 teams taking part in the ICC Cricket World Cup can be found in the ICC’s Media Notes publication that can be downloaded at: www.icc-cricket.com
- The West Indies Cricket Board will also be holding a media conference at Kensington on Monday, at 1530. Details of that media conference can be obtained from Tony Deyal or Imran Khan (WICB Media Manager).
- Following that media conference, a further conference involving players from the West Indies sides that won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 1975 and 1979 will be held at 4.00pm and will be at the Hilton Hotel in Ballroom One. This will be followed by Kenneth Gordon having a press conference at 4.30pm at the CWC office
Tuesday’s match between the West Indies and Pakistan at Sabina Park, Kingston is the first of 51 matches to be played, with the final to be staged at Kensington Oval, Barbados on 28 April. Australia is the defending champion after beating India in the 2003 ICC Cricket World Cup final in Johannesburg in 2003.
