James to have knee operation

Steve James, who recently injured his left knee, will undergo a minor operation on May 2nd and is likely to be out of action until the end of the month.

James hurt his knee prior to Glamorgan`s County Championship match against Hampshire at Cardiff."It`s a bit of a chronic injury," said the Glamorgan captain. "There`s a bit of bone rubbing against another bit of bone which is going to produce fluid, but hopefully everything should be O.K. after the op."
