Gus Logie, Bermuda's coach, cast a deflated figure after watching his side crash to a ten-wicket defeat by Kenya in the opening match of the World Cricket League.
"It certainly wasn't a good day," Logie admitted. "Again you look at the poor shot selection, it's difficult to explain. It's difficult to know where we go from here, really and truly. Is it belief, is it passion lacking in the players who want to do well? They have to answer some questions of themselves.
"We just have to keep working. This was the first game of the tournament, we'd hoped to start on a better note, we just have to pick up the pieces."
The Bermuda side left Kenya in November after a 3-0 series whitewash amid accusations that they were unprofessional and unfit. Sadly, those same criticisms were again voiced yesterday. "They were smiling and laughing as they walked off the field after being thumped," one eyewitness told Cricinfo. "They seemed to lack fight and any willingness to battle."
