McGlashan replaces Kelly in Central Districts side

Opening batsman David Kelly has been dropped from the Central Districts side which will play Wellington in the State Championship match at Napier from March 18-21.

Kelly has been replaced by Peter McGlashan, who played in the side against Otago and Canterbury before the return of captain Jacob Oram.

The team is: Jacob Oram, Peter Ingram, Mathew Sinclair, Ben Smith, Glen Sulzberger, Peter McGlashan, Bevan Griggs, Campbell Furlong, Andrew Schwass, Michael Mason, Brent Hefford, Lance Hamilton.

A further change will be needed for the last match of the State Championship as Smith will be returning to England for pre-County competition practice at his new club Worcestershire.
