Lahore, July 11: Pakistan Cricket Board advisory council will discuss
referee John Reid's decision Waqar Younis, in its meeting to be held
at the Gaddafi Stadium on July 20.
John Reid suspended paceman Younis for one match in the ongoing
triangular series at Colombo, Sri Lanka, alleging the bowler was
tampering with the ball during a match against South Africa.
The other points included in the agenda are to extend celebrated
cricketer Javed Miandad's tenure as coach of the Pakistan team, to
finalise the arrangements for the England and Indian teams tour of
Pakistan due in October, 2000 and January 2001, respectively.
The last point of the agenda is to discuss the domestic cricket
programme.
The meeting will be chaired by the council chief Lt.-Gen Tauqir Zia.
