The Free State Eagles managed to add only nine runs to their overnight score before rain caused play to be abandoned on the second day of their Supersport Series match against the Northerns Titans on Saturday.
Resuming on 54 for no loss and chasing Northerns' 291 all out, the Eagles duo of Gerhardus Liebenberg and Andrew Gait were allowed only five overs to lift their team to a total of 63 before play was finally called off.
Liebenberg added five runs to his overnight score to see him on 29 not out, with Gait on 27 not out.
Play is scheduled to start at 9.30am on Sunday.
