The Australian Cricket Board (ACB) and the Bradman family announced in
Adelaide today funeral and memorial service details for the late Sir Donald
Bradman.

The Funeral - Thursday 1 March 2001
7pm Hearse departs Pengelley & Knabe funeral parlour at 290 Greenhill
Road in Glenside and then travels down Greenhill Road, Anzac Highway, South
Road, Ayliffes Road, Fiveash Drive, Goodwood Road, finishing at Centennial
Park in Pasadena.
Hearse entering Centennial Park marks the end of public access to the
ceremony.
8pm Private service begins at Centennial Park.
The public can pay respects to Sir Donald along the route from Pengelley &
Knabe funeral parlour to Centennial Park.
The Memorial service - Sunday 25 March 2001
7pm An hour long service begins at St Peter's Cathedral in King William
Road, North Adelaide.
Speakers at the memorial service are Sir Donald's son John Bradman, Governor
General Sir William Deane, former Australian captain Richie Benaud and Jill
Gauvin, a personal friend of Sir Donald.
A large video screen will be set up at the Adelaide Oval (next to St Peter's
Cathedral) for public viewing of the service.
