Hashan Tillekeratne 119 not out

NCC helped by an unbeaten century by Hashan Tillekeratne and two half
centuries by Aravinda de Silva and Chinthaka Jayasinghe look set for
an early outright win today in their Premier Cricket Tournament match
against Police at Maitland Place. After Police were skittled out for
93 NCC replied with 401 for 6 declared and Police in their second
turn were 43 for 3 at close yesterday.
Aravinda de Silva hit four boundaries and a six in his 52 and with
Tillekeratne who made an unbeaten 119 with 10 fours put on 82 for the
fourth wicket. Then Tillekeratne and Ruwan Kalpage (26) made 52 for
the fifth wicket while Tillekeratne and Chinthaka Jayasinghe (86 with
six fours and four sixes) put on 151 for the sixth wicket.
Scores:
Police: 93 in 48.5 overs (Sajeewa de Silva 4 for 15, Aravinda de
Silva 3 for 29, Ruwan Kalpage 3 for 25) and 54 for 3 at close in 25
overs (Pradeep Udawatte 21, Ravindra Wimalasiri not out 20).

Sebs get 1st innings points
Sebastianites have already obtained first innings points from CCC in
their Premier Cricket Tournament game at Maitland Crescent.
Sebastianites made 265, while CCC, managed only 199. Sebastianites
were 24 for no loss at close yesterday.
Yesterday's play was highlighted by a superb 91 with 12 fours by
CCC's Duncan Arnolda and a fine spell of bowling by Dinusha Silva (5
for 61) for Sebastianites.

Bloomfield have already obtained first innings points from Kurunegala
YCC in their Premier Cricket Tournament match at Braybrooke Place.
Kurunegala YCC made 167 and Bloomfield in reply made 247. The
visitors were 19 for 2 at close yesterday.

in the Premier Cricket tournament match at Havelock Park yesterday.
Antonians who were 170 for 7 overnight were all out for 216. Colts in
reply spearheaded by a fine century by Sajith Fernando (101) reached
314.

Moors - 1st innings points
Moors Sports Club took first innings points when they dismissed
Matara Sports Club for 197 in their first innings after having made
240 for 9 wickets declared in the Premier Division cricket match at
Braybrooke Place yesterday. At close of play, Moors made 65 for one
wicket.

Exciting finish expected today
Singha Sports Club took first innings points, but BRC may well be in
a position to get an outright win today in their Premier Division
cricket tournament match at Havelock Park.
Singha who made 273 in their first innings, were 77 for 5 wickets at
close yesterday. BRC were all out for 150.
