Kandy's Battle of the Blues
St. Anthony's College, Katugastota, should have a slight edge over
Trinity College when they clash in their 83rd 'Battle of the Blues'
which will be played at the Asgiriya Stadium this Friday and Saturday.
The Trinitians are still ahead of the 82 battles by securing 22 wins
against 11 by the Antonians who made their mark in the school cricket
arena much later.
The Antonians though fielding a young side with most of the players
being blooded from the junior team are led by all-rounder Amila
Suranga Pinnaduwa.
The Trinitians led by third year player Kaushalya Weeraratne are
fielding an experienced side this season.
The Trinitians have played 10 matches, won one and lost one and drawn
