Tait was selected in Australia's one-day teams for both the Test and one-day Super Series matches following his steady progress in his first two Tests during the Ashes tour. Stuart Clark, who made his international debut in the Super Series match today, was called up for the limited-overs squad but Australia have still not picked a replacement for Tait in the 13-man Super Test outfit.
