HOBART, Jan 18 AAP - Shane Warne's right shoulder will get another workout when he captains Victoria in an ING Cup cricket match against Tasmania at Bellerive Oval tomorrow.
Warne, who injured his shoulder in a one-day match against England on December 15, flew into Hobart today.
He gave the shoulder its first match test in a one-dayer for Victoria against Western Australia last Friday week.
His performance at Bellerive - and how he pulls up afterwards - is likely to decide whether he returns to the Australian team for the triangular series finals or is kept in cotton wool until the World Cup.
With Tasmania on 11 points and Victoria on nine from five matches each, the game is a must-win for both if finals hopes are to be kept alive.
Victoria has flown Warne, Rob Cassell, Nick Jewell and Andrew McDonald in to join its Pura Cup team, which completes its match with Tasmania today and will select its one-day team from a squad of 15.
Young batsman George Bailey has pulled out of the Tasmanian team with injury.
The match will be a twilight experiment for Bellerive, which can't hold night games because it doesn't have lights.
It will start at noon and finished about 8 pm.
