The Western Warriors have undergone a solid pre-season training program during the winter, with the aim of improving upon last season s form.
The Warriors have not featured in a Pura Cup final, since claiming back to back Sheffield Shield titles in 1998-99.
Queensland have featured in four of the past five finals of the Australian four-day domestic competition, winning the title on three occasions. (1996-97, 1999-2000 & 2000-2001)
