The inaugural Six Nations Challenge was staged as a key element of the ICC's High Performance Programme designed to improve the performance of the qualifying teams in the World Cup proper. Canada, Holland and Namibia were joined in the event by Kenya and A-teams from Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Kenya gave their World Cup aspirations a huge boost in winning the tournament by beating Sri Lanka A in the final.
Other action in the programme comes from the one day series between Pakistan and New Zealand along with a feature on Pakistan stalwart Wasim Akram following the announcement of his retirement. The career of Zimbabwe's Alastair Campbell is also profiled in the programme.
Those interested in developments in the game will be interested in a debate concerning the planned introduction of a 20 over competition into the English domestic season.
The Programme will be shown in the UK on Saturday 4th May on Channel 4 at 8:30am.
