Zimbabwe Cricket again fails to sort out the basics

Zimbabwe Cricket is again under fire after it failed to provide any scorecards for the current match between Zimbabwe Select and India A to the media

Zimbabwe Cricket is again under fire after it failed to provide any scorecards for the current match between Zimbabwe Select and India A to the media.
The board is already under mounting pressure from the ICC and various statistical organisations after failing to supply cards for matches in the Logan Cup, Zimbabwe's first-class competition, and the Faithwear Cup, the limited-overs tournament, almost three months after the last matches took place.
Given the shambles with the domestic games it had been expected that ZC would go overboard to make sure that the arrangements for a high-profile tour by India would be better handled.
However, it seems that once again the board has failed to ensure that even the most basic information is available to the media.
  • Within two hours of this article being published, ZC released scorecards for the first two days. The card for the third day arrived shortly after the close, although it was incomplete. The card for the fourth and final day was not sent out for almost 36 hours after the end of the match.
