Ahmed Shehzad gets four-month doping ban
The PCB has back-dated the start of his ban to July 10, the date when it had provisionally suspended the opening batsman for returning a positive drug test

The PCB has banned Ahmed Shehzad for four months effective from July 10, 2018, for violating the board's anti-doping rules. That date was when the PCB provisionally suspended Shehzad, after a random dope test conducted during the Pakistan Cup domestic tournament returned a positive result for a prohibited substance.
Shehzad was charged with two violations of the PCB's anti-doping rules. He has admitted to the violations but said he had no intent to cheat or enhance his performance.
Apart from serving the four-month ban from international and domestic cricket - which will end on November 10 - Shehzad is required to deliver anti-doping lectures "to such audiences and at such places as the PCB may require", as part of his rehabilitation process.
"PCB has a zero tolerance policy towards doping in cricket and hopes that in future cricketers will exercise utmost care to ensure that no Prohibited Substances enter their system," Ehsan Mani, the PCB chairman, said.
