Kallis keen on Glamorgan return

Jacques Kallis has expressed his desire to play for Glamorgan again. He was back in action in Cardiff against Zimbabwe in the NatWest Series, and it brought back fond memories of his time there.

Glamorgan certainly got their money's worth from Kallis in the 1999 county season, in which he averaged 96.80 in the National League and 40.22 in the County Championship. And he enjoyed his time there too: "The Glamorgan boys are a good bunch and I've made some good friends there."

He added: "So far I haven't had the opportunity to come back because of the international schedule, but I'm certainly looking forward to doing another year with Glamorgan, I totally enjoyed my year with them.

"Possibly in two years' time we might have a bit of time off from South Africa's schedule, but it's difficult to know when, but certainly at the first chance I get I'd love to come back."
