Noffke earns call-up for the Bulls

Special Bus Services announced for One Day Internationals

Special Bus Services announced for One Day Internationals.
Sunshine Coast pace bowler Ashley Noffke was the beneficiary today of Adam Dale's selection in the Australian One Day team when he was elevated into the XXXX Queensland Bulls team for Sunday's Mercantile Mutual Cup match against Tasmania in Hobart.
While Dale and Andrew Symonds will be involved in the opening One Day International match of the summer between Australia and Pakistan at the Gabba on Sunday, Noffke and Martin Love will make their return to the Bulls line-up for the crunch domestic One Day match.
Noffke, 22, made his Mercantile Mutual Cup debut for the Bulls against the Western Warriors earlier in the season when Dale was a late withdrawal due to injury and his all-round skills earned him the nod ahead of the likes of Scott Muller and Joe Dawes when the Queensland selectors announced the team today.
"Ashley bats well in the lower order and is a very good fielder and those factors obviously influenced his selection, along with the fact that he is an excellent pace bowling prospect," Bulls coach Bennett King said today.
The Bulls will travel to Hobart on Friday, after taking on Pakistan tomorrow at the Gabba in the Suncorp Metway One Day Challenge match. Dale and Symonds will turn out for the Bulls in the match, which starts at 2.30pm.
Meanwhile, the Brisbane City Council is providing additional shuttle buses for each of the One Day matches to assist with fans making their way to and from the newly-completed Gabba.
For tomorrow's Queensland-Pakistan match and Monday's India-Pakistan One Day International, shuttle buses will depart from Stanley Street opposite the Gabba following the match and set down passengers at South Brisbane Station, Elizabeth Street and Central Station.
For Sunday's One Day International, which is a sell-out with a crowd of more than 35,000 anticipated, buses will depart every five minutes from the City from Central Station and the Queen Street Bus Station Zone A, stopping at South Bank (Melbourne/Grey Streets) to collect rail passengers at South Brisbane Station. This service will be offered between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
After the match, special services will depart from Stanley Street opposite the Gabba, travelling to the City and stopping at South Brisbane Station, Elizabeth Street and Central Station. This service will continue until the crowd is cleared.
