Kerala 321 and 18 for 0 lead Jharkhand 315 (Dhoni 97, Vardhan 94, Nair 5-69) by 24 runs
Scorecard
Manish Vardhan stroked a vital 94 to take Jharkhand close to Kerala's first-innings score of 321, but his dismissal on 312 signalled the end for Jharkhand, who folded up three runs later. Kerala's openers then made slow progress, putting on 18 runs in 15 overs. Only 174 runs were scored all day as Vardhan hung on for nearly six hours for his 94. He was bowled by Sree Santh, but Sreekumar Nair had the better figures of 5 for 69.
Orissa 80 and 188 for 4 (Jayachandra 77*, Parida 60) trail Himachal Pradesh 425 by 157 runs
Scorecard
A massacre was on the cards at Dharmasala, where Orissa were unsuccessfully fighting off Himachal Pradesh's bowlers, who bundled them out for 80 in the first innings and reduced them to 157 for 4 in the second. Four of Orissa's batsmen were unable to score a run in the first innings, where Vikramjeet Malik and Ashok Thakur grabbed four wickets apiece. After Himachal enforced the follow-on, Malik struck again immediately, removing Subrat Behera for his second zero of the game. Then Shiv Sunder Das and Rashmi Parida added fifty, before Parida and Pinninti Jayachandra put on 106 for the third wicket. Jayachandra remained unbeaten on a defiant 77, but Himachal still had the upper hand, and were favourites to wrap up the game by an innings on the final day.
Services 185 and 70 for 1 trail Haryana 435 by 180 runs

Haryana tightened their grip on the game against Services at New Delhi by enforcing the follow-on after Services were dismissed for 185. They were 70 for 1 in the second innings, trailing by 180 runs. Krushnasinh Chawda top-scored with an unbeaten 51 in Services's first innings.
Goa 371 and 170 for 5 (Asnodkar 90) lead Vidarbha 300 (Shitoot 114) by 271 runs
Scorecard
Goa led Vidarbha by 271 runs after dismissing them for 300 and then reaching 170 for 5 in their second innings. Harshal Shitoot led Vidarbha's quest to take the first-innings lead with 114, but his exit brought the campaign to a screeching halt. Then Shami Asnodkar scored 90 at a fair clip while his mates fell cheaply around him. He fell shortly before the end of the day, but had done enough to put Goa in the driver's seat.
