South Australia have recalled Cullen Bailey to their Pura Cup squad to face New South Wales in Adelaide on Friday in place of the injured Shaun Tait. Bailey, the spinner, missed out against Tasmania, but played in the opener against Victoria last month.
Tait has an elbow injury which forced him out of the first Test squad against Sri Lanka and ruled him out of this match, too.
The Redbacks have lost both of their matches, including the last match where Tasmania chased down 350 on the final day. They will have received a small boost from beating the Blues in the FR Cup on Wednesday, however the visitors top the table with eight points from a win and a draw so far.
New South Wales announced last week that the same squad would contest the recent matches in Hobart as well as those in Adelaide.
Matthew Nicholson missed out on the FR Cup match against the Redbacks, and had lost his place to the returning Stuart Clark for their last Pura Cup outing, but could feature in this match with Clark playing for Australia. In his last Pura Cup outing, Nicholson smashed a century and had three wickets.
South Australia squad Matthew Elliott, Shane Deitz, Mark Cosgrove, Nathan Adcock (capt), Darren Lehmann, Graham Manou (wk), Andy Delmont, Mark Cleary, Jason Gillespie, Ryan Harris, Cullen Bailey, Dan Cullen.
New South Wales squad Ed Cowan, Grant Lambert, Simon Katich (capt), Brad Haddin (wk), Dominic Thornely, Peter Forrest, Stephen O'Keefe, Nathan Hauritz, Nathan Bracken, Mark Cameron, Doug Bollinger, Matthew Nicholson.
