West Indies v Zimbabwe, 2012-13

Wisden's review of the third ODI between West Indies and Zimbabwe, 2012-13

15-Apr-2014
At St George's, Grenada, February 26, 2013. Third one-day international: West Indies won by five wickets. ‡Zimbabwe 211-9 (50 overs) (V. Sibanda 41, B. R. M. Taylor 39, C. J. Chibhabha 48*; V. Permaul 3-40); West Indies 215-5 (46.2 overs) (K. O. A. Powell 42, D. M. Bravo 72*). MoM: D. M. Bravo. MoS: D. M. Bravo. ODI debut: T. C. Mutombodzi (Zimbabwe).
West Indies completed a clean sweep in the 50-over series with 22 balls to spare after some weak batting from Zimbabwe, who were without the fever-struck Craig Ervine. Darren Bravo compiled 72 from 103 balls in the chase which, allied to his unbeaten hundred in the first match, gave him an average of 172 and the Man of the Series award. Natsai Mushangwe and debutant Tinotenda Mutombodzi provided the rare sight of leg-spinners wheeling away at both ends, and conceded 66 from their combined 20 overs. Mutombodzi dismissed Sarwan with his third ball in international cricket, and later added Powell.
