Zaheer, Nayar return to boost Mumbai
Mumbai will be boosted by the return of Zaheer Khan and Abhishek Nayar for their Ranji Trophy quarter-final against Maharashtra at the Wankhede Stadium from January 8 to 12
Zol lift for Maharashtra
Vijay Zol, the India Under-19 captain who scored a hundred in the U-19 Asia Cup final against Pakistan, will return to Maharashtra's Ranji Trophy squad for the quarter-final against Mumbai, to be played at the Wankhede Stadium from January 8 to 12. Zol had missed Maharashtra's last two Group C games due to the Asia Cup and the preceding preparatory camp for the tournament.

Uthappa returns for Karnataka
Karnataka batsman Robin Uthappa is back in the squad for the quarter-final clash against Uttar Pradesh in Bangalore from January 8 to 12. Uthappa, who had played only two games before suffering a hamstring injury, replaces Mayank Agarwal. Left-arm spinner KP Appanna, who missed the previous match against Delhi, too returns while the allrounder Stuart Binny will miss the remainder of the season after being picked in the India ODI squad for New Zealand.
