Running round to his right from deep cover, makes no mistake this time around.. 156/3 92b to CG Benjamin, cleaned up! Benjamin skipped down, Payne's low full toss squeezed underneath his bat, and landed on the base of middle stump.. 161/4 95b to BAC Howell, wide on the crease, misses the yorker, but Howell gets a leading edge which drops into Duckett's hands at extra cover on the edge of the ring. 167/5 | ||||||||||

36b to GD Phillips, gives it some air, skewed to cover! Tahir hits back, off he goes... Tossed up and Phillips was stretching for it, ended up slicing a straightforward catch to Moeen in the covers. Phoenix's captain is enjoying himself almost as much as Immy. 53/3 40b to JL du Plooy, miscued back over the bowler's head... and Tahir is there to snaffle it! Two in the set for Tahir, and Fire are threatening to go down in flames here! du Plooy swings across the line and gets a tame top edge, simply taken as Tahir circles around. 55/4 72b to Qais Ahmad, big old yahoo and it plops into the hands of mid-off! Tahir claims a third, he's having a good night out there - and why not, when you've got that many on the board to defend? Tossed up, tempts the big shot from his legspinner confrere, straight to Smeed on the edge of the circle. 91/8 73b to ME Milnes, skids on a straight one, hits the front pad! Tim Robinson's fingers goes straight up! Milnes is gone first ball, trapped lbw attempting to paddle his first ball... Tahir goes off on a lap of Birmingham City Centre, he's got four and is now on a hat-trick!. 91/9 74b to DA Payne, HAT-TRICK!! Bowled 'im neck and crop! Googly through the gate of No. 11, finishes the game in style and then sets off on a victory lap for the ages! Tahir bags a five-for as Fire are doused for 91. Pace off as always, 66mph cutter, I think, and Duckett exposed his stumps looking to use the angle from round the wicket to his advantage. Instead he heard the crash of ash. 42/2 66b to GG White, swung to leg, finds a fielder in the deep!
