2.4 to M Bryant, full on fifth stump, shovels this trying to clear mid-off but Russell tracks back from the ring and takes an athletic over the shoulder catch 15 yards behind the ring.. 14/2

1.6 to C Munro, full on middle, goes to slog sweep orthodox over the leg side but gets a top edge that swirls to the man at deep midwicket. Simple catch by Sutherland taking crouching 10 yards in from the rope.. 12/1 15.4 to MG Neser, arm ball skids on from a good length toward off stump, Neser is flat-footed trying to cut this and is cramped for room as the ball takes a bottom edge and crashes into leg stump.. 101/6 15.6 to JJ Bazley, bullseye! The arm ball does it again for Hosein! Zings this in on a good length pitching on fifth stump and just skids in toward middle. Bazley goes onto the back foot to punch but is beaten between bat and pad and the ball smashes into middle stump 3/4 of the way up.. 101/7

10.1 to SW Billings, back of a length on fifth stump, Billings opens the face trying to run this to deep third man for an easy single but the ball climbs on him more than he expected and doesn't get as much bat on it as he wanted. Instead it's just a simple edge that goes through to the keeper at head height.. 75/3 10.6 to MT Renshaw, chop on! Back of a length on off stump, Renshaw goes back trying to guide this behind point for one with a simple tap and run but again there's a bit more bounce than anticipated that throws off the rhythm and results in the ball taking a carom onto the stumps.. 78/4 14.3 to RA Whiteley, back of a length ball angled wide outside off near the wide guideline, Whiteley chases this but again some movement away gets a thin edge through to the keeper.. 96/5 18.1 to MT Steketee, bouncer on middle, goes to pull and a top edge swirls over the keeper for a simple catch.. 108/8

0.1 to SB Harper, half-volley drifting down the leg side, Harper flicks this flat and somehow picks out the man in the ring fielding in front of square leg five yards from the edge of the ring. It was a boundary ball and Neser can't believe his luck.. 0/1 0.6 to J Fraser-McGurk, now this is a ball that deserves a wicket! Fullish length ball in the fifth stump channel, moves away a touch and draws Fraser-McGurk into a false drive drawing the edge through to the keeper.. 6/2 2.1 to NJ Maddinson, back of a length angled across fourth stump, goes to cut and is cramped for room dragging this onto leg stump.. 9/3 2.2 to JW Wells, bullseye! He's got the hat-trick with Wells leaving a ball seaming in and offering no shot only to hear the death rattle! This was essentially a straight ball! Not really any movement. Wells may have been expecting it to swing away. Instead it pitches on a fullish length on off stump and just goes straight on cannoning into off stump three-quarters of the way up.. 9/4

14.3 to AD Russell, fullish length ball in the slot on fifth stump, Russell goes for a wild heave clearing the front leg and instead gets a thick edge through to the keeper flying high and taken above head height.. 90/5 18.5 to AJ Hosein, fullish length ball follows Hosein backing away from leg stump, he flicks this flat in the air toward deep midwicket and a sharp catch is taken by Billings diving forward 10 yards in from the rope taking this at knee height.. 129/6
