Perera looks to flay this over point but there's a bit of extra bounce that induces the edge as the keeper completes a regulation take. 5/1 28.5 to BKG Mendis, Holes out at the edge of the midwicket boundary. Imam clings onto the catch in the deep after having dropped one earlier in the afternoon. Top catch to end a top innings. Slower offcutter, 119s, on middle, swiped in the air. Imam takes the catch, then loses his balance, but keeps the ball in his hands. For a moment, it appeared like Mendis had nailed this too. Respite for Pakistan. 218/3 30.1 to KIC Asalanka, Hasan has another! Pakistan are clawing themselves back into the game! This was angled away from Asalanka again, and Asalanka is planted to his crease just plays this away from the body with an angled bat and gets a thick edge that the keeper takes well to his left. 229/4 47.6 to S Samarawickrama, caught behind playing the reverse pull. He goes for that shot because there's no one at the boundary at backward of point. If it had come off, if he'd gotten a little more bat on it, it would've been four. He gets a top edge that flies down to fine leg, where Kusal Perera rushes in and takes a well judged catch diving forward. Just the start Sri Lanka would have wanted. 16/1 7.2 to Babar Azam, Madushanka has the big one! And boy isn't he ecstatic!
