Back of a length ball that starts outside leg and then does all sorts, sizzling and swerving away from Marsh. He gets into an awful tangle and the extra bounce causes him even more grief. Goes straight up off the leading edge and Jansen calls early to gobble it up in the short third region. Punjab Kings on the board early and Marsh, after two successive fifties, goes for a golden duck!. 1/1 19.2 to A Badoni, miscued and taken by Maxwell! Badoni's rear-guard effort comes to an end! Off-pace on a back of a length outside off. Badoni shapes up to hack it over cow corner but the lack of pace, plus the fact that he is fighting the angle, means that he chalks it off the toe-end. Maxwell runs around to his left from deep mid wicket and does the rest! A good innings, but he cannot quite see LSG through to 175-180!. 166/6 19.4 to Abdul Samad, soft, soft dismissal and LSG are losing their way in the final over! Hung up full and wide outside off. Samad has no option but to swish at it but only manages a tame outside edge due to the angle. 3.5 to AK Markram, Markram bites the dust now, and Ferguson has the last laugh! Twists, turns everywhere! On a length outside off and this seems to just nip back in a shade. Markram looks to drive on the up and leaves a gap between bat and pad. The ball sneaks through, perhaps helped by an inside edge and off stump gets pegged back. 4.5 to RR Pant, straight to short fine leg, and Pant will be kicking himself! Not the greatest ball Maxwell will ever bowl in his life, but that has got the job done tonight. A half-tracker outside leg and Pant ought to have hit that into next week. Instead, he picks out Chahal at short fine leg and he cannot believe what he has done. Miller goes flaying at it away from his body and with minimal footwork. Does not cover the line and the ball straightens just enough to take the outside edge. 11.3 to N Pooran, Chahal outwits Pooran, and he roars in delight! What a moment in the game! Dangles the carrot outside off and Pooran bites. He looks to go straight but the googly and the angle is always taking it away from the batter. He cuts across it too much and spoons it towards long off. Maxwell settles under it and snares the chance. Pooran storms off livid, and this is a big, big wicket, fashioned by Punjab's premier spinner!. 89/4 | ||||||||||

Dug in shorter and this spins away to finish outside off. Arya tries to drag it leg-side but cannot fight the angle. Skews it straight up and Thakur, running in from mid on, does the rest. Rathi is pumped and delighted, as his celebration shows, and the Kings have been dented!. 26/1 10.1 to Prabhsimran Singh, exceptional work on the fence, and Prabhsimran's fun is over for the night! Darted in on a length just outside off. Prabhsimran has a massive mow across the line and skews it towards deep mid wicket. Badoni takes it initially on the deep mid wicket fence, only to realize he might step onto the rope. He then pops it back into the air, and Bishnoi, who has followed up from deep square leg, is in position to dive and complete the catch. Excellent synchronization, and excellent execution.
