4.3 to KNM Fernando, Both openers are gone! And Taskin gets in on the act! Length outside off, touch wide this but it nips back just enough to get the inside edge as Madushka has a waft at this. Not much foot movement and drags on, the stumps are rattled. Sri Lanka in trouble early. 11/2 6.1 to PHKD Mendis, Taskin has his second! This is not yet a wicket you can drive on the up, and Kamindu learns that the hard way. Good length outside off, and he looks to loft this over mid-off. Only manages to chip it straight to the man in the ring.. 29/3 45.1 to PW Hasaranga, Hasaranga has to go for it, but he doesn't get it! Taskin gets a third. Back of a length outside off, and Hasaranga backs away looking to drag this over long-on. Only gets the height though, as the fielder comes in from the ropes and holds on well. 226/7 45.4 to M Theekshana, Leading edge and gone! Tame dismissal. Back of a length, has Theekshana hopping. 3.1 to P Nissanka, Edged and gone! And it's the big scalp of Nissanka! Bangladesh are rewarded for their excellent start! This was back of a length on a sixth stump line. Nissanka looks to cut, but is beaten by some extra bounce as Tanzim has really bent his back on this one. Thick edge, and Litton holds on well over his right shoulder. 5/1 39.3 to RMMP Rathnayake, This time much quicker and he drags on! Length ball, 140kph, skids on. Milan is rooted to the crease and looks to chop this away. Thick inside edge on to the base of the stumps. 192/6 49.1 to KIC Asalanka, skier and taken! The captain falls! Full on the pads, and Asalanka looks to pick this up over deep midwicket but he only ends up getting under it. Long-on runs in and holds on well, Shanto the man. 243/9 | ||||||||||

18.6 to BKG Mendis, an even bigger lbw shout, and this time, the finger goes up! Seemed to be angling down, though, and Kusal has taken it upstairs! Drama in Colombo! This is darted in, much fuller and slanting into middle and leg. Kusal lunges at it and plays for the turn. Gets beaten on the inside and subsequently gets smashed on the front pad. Looked to have not straightened enough, however. Nothing on UltraEdge. All eyes on Ball Tracking now and...it reckons the ball would have grazed the outside of leg stump. 31.4 to J Liyanage, holes out to long on! Oh my, the ploy to throw the ball to Shanto has worked a charm! Given a bit of air just outside off and Liyanage's eyes light up. He charges down the track, looking to go downtown but ends up getting too close to the ball. He cannot get under it and arrows it straight to Tanzim, who takes it smartly in front of his face. Liyanage cannot believe what he has done, and Bangladesh have the wicket they were craving!. 153/5 | ||||||||||

4.4 to Parvez Hossain Emon, oh dear - this is a wild hack, and Emon's fun on ODI debut has been brought to a crashing halt! Not a stroke Emon will want to play on repeat, and his reaction suggests just as much. A bit shorter than the previous ball and angling across a little more too. Emon's design to swish it over cow corner falls flat, and Kusal, circling under the high ball, does the rest in the short third region. An effervescent beginning to ODI cricket, but it fizzled out far too early - from Emon and Bangladesh's perspective!. 29/1 | ||||||||||

That might have swayed the umpire to give it not out. Sri Lanka review. And it's a good one! Three reds, Hasaranga's celebrappeal instincts prove right yet again! Litton goes for a duck. 101/3 17.5 to Tanzid Hasan, Unbelievable catch! Take a bow Janith Liyanage! I've got goosebumps. It was going to take something special to get rid of Tanzid and Liyanage has produced it! Tossed up on off, Tanzid takes it on. And despite being aerial it looks to be well clear to the right of mid-off, only for Liyanage to spring full length to his right and grab this with both hands. 102/4 19.1 to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Sri Lanka have another, as this time the finger goes up! Bangladesh review though. This was the googly and caught Mehidy in front middle looking to go across the crease. Only bat can save him here, and there's none! Three reds, Bangladesh lose their sixth!. 103/6 35.5 to Jaker Ali, Hasaranga does not even look back at the umpire in his celebrappeal, and that will be that for tonight! A collapse of gigantic proportions, and Bangladesh, who seemed to have things under control for so long, have been consigned to a heavy defeat, almost out of nowhere! This is a googly pitching on a length just outside off. Jaker, having defended the first four balls of the over, decides to chance his arm with the sweep. Not sure if he picked the wrong'un but he got into an awkward position, eventually being unable to access the ball. Rapped in front of middle stump, and with Bangladesh out of reviews, the umpire's finger was the death knell for a batting performance that Bangladesh will want to forget rather promptly!. 167/10 | ||||||||||

18.3 to Towhid Hridoy, Through the gap! And the Khettarama is rocking and rolling! This was the arm ball and it's waltzed through a massive gap between bat and pad. Bangladesh have just like that lost half their side!. 103/5 20.2 to Tanzim Hasan Sakib, They're trying to one up each other in the field! Another scorcher! This time it's Theekshana. It's low full toss and it's whipped in the air high to the left of short midwicket, where Theekshana has sprung up and held it over his left shoulder with two hands. Outstanding reflexes from the big man. Sanath can't wipe the grin off his face!. 104/7 20.5 to Taskin Ahmed, And is this another?! Finger goes up once more! Gently tossed up on middle and Taskin has simply defended down the wrong line. Hits him plumb in front, and it's crashing into middle and leg. Wasted review. 8 down!. 105/8 | ||||||||||
