2.5 to AN Petersen, caught at short leg! And they're checking for the no-ball I suppose. The short leg fielder juggled and took it in the second attempt and the umpires are checking if the catch was clean. Irfan's safe, half his boot was behind the line, he pitched it short and the extra bounce took Peterson by surprise, fended it to short leg and Masood fumbled and took it in the second attempt very low off the ground, the umpires are convinced. 6/1 6.2 to GC Smith, Big appeal for a caught behind! Given not out and Pakistan are reviewing it, lands outside off and Smith didn't cover the line because the ball had straightened, there was a sound as the ball passed the bat, Akmal immediately signalled for the review, Smith didn't look back though, no real deviation, there's no Hot Spot in this series and after quite a while the message came from the third umpire that Smith had to go. 19/2 90.2 to HM Amla, Irfan's struck second ball and it's the Big Fish! Amla's staying on to check the no-ball but Irfan's safe here, caught at second slip, moved across the right-hander, fine delivery, Amla merely poked at it outside off, very indecisive with his footwork, it went flat to Younis Khan. 245/9
18.4 | 2 | 52 | 1 | 2.78 | 90 | 8 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
16.4 to JH Kallis, inside edge and well taken by Adnan! Junaid didn't get much movement before this but on this occasion got the ball to bend back in sharply from round the wicket, Kallis was forward to drive but didn't cover the line, the ball took the inside edge and Adnan moved quickly to his left and took the catch on the dive, Paul Reiffel was certain he nicked it. 43/3
27 | 2 | 89 | 3 | 3.29 | 108 | 6 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
69.6 to JP Duminy, first Test wicket for Babar and that's thanks to some smart field placement! Tossed up from over the wicket, Duminy goes for the sweep, this time he fails to keep it down and ends up playing it in the air, Shafiq was stationed in the region behind the conventional square leg, takes the catch easily. 199/5 73.3 to F du Plessis, Caught at gully by Shafiq! Babar was bowling from round the wicket to the right-hander, Faf rocks back and looked to punch it to the off side, he gets an outside edge and Shafiq dives forward and takes the catch, there were fielders close to the bat. 205/6 79.2 to RJ Peterson, through the gate and make that three for Babar! Bowls from over the wicket to the left-hander, lands it outside off and he gets some generous turn off the rough, Peterson was forward and looked to push at it and left a gap between bat and pad. 217/7
29.1 | 6 | 59 | 2 | 2.02 | 140 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
82.1 to VD Philander, Philander has been given lbw and he wants it reviewed, bowled from over the wicket, pitched a touch wide outside off and spun back in, it bounced as well and struck him just above the knee roll, Reiffel gave him out immediately, Philander reviewed it because there was the issue of height, Hawkeye showed that just clipping the top of the leg stump, the umpire's call stays. 222/8 93.1 to DW Steyn, forget about what I wrote the last ball! Ajmal's finished off the innings, it was the doosra, Ajmal cleverly holds back the pace, flights it more, gets Steyn dancing down the track to loft, beaten in flight and Akmal does the rest. 249/10 |

128.2 to Misbah-ul-Haq, Misbah's been given out lbw and he wants it reviewed, landed on a good length just outside off and came back in slightly, Misbah was looking to play across the line, hit straight on the pads above the knee roll, the umpire gave him out immediately, replays show the ball clipping the top of leg stump, umpire's call stays and Misbah has to go. 394/6 136.5 to Junaid Khan, miscues the pull, too quick for the tailender, rising on the body and Junaid looked to pull and he mistimed it, Morkel dived forward from midwicket and took the catch. 437/9 138.4 to Adnan Akmal, yorker to end the innings! Akmal's resistance ends, Steyn bowls an inswinging yorker, Akmal fails to dig it out, plays around it, the leg stump is out of the ground. 442/10
26 | 5 | 84 | 3 | 3.23 | 120 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
57.3 to Azhar Ali, fine catch by AB! It was a lazy shot by Azhar, lands it outside off and the ball slants away, Azhar doesn't move his feet and looks to dab it to the off side, thick outside edge and AB dives low to his right to take it one-handed. 173/2 89.5 to Khurram Manzoor, Kallis takes a sharp catch at slip! Philander fired this one full and wide outside off, Manzoor couldn't resist chasing it, looks to drive square and gets an outside edge that flies to second slip, Kallis had to throw himself really quickly to his left and cup it with both hands over his head. 290/4 133.1 to Saeed Ajmal, given out caught behind and Ajmal wants it reviewed, this was on a good length outside off, Ajmal played away from the body and looked to dab it to the off side, Ajmal looked back but yet again there was no obvious deviation, Ajmal takes his time to review it and the third umpire is taking his time too, this may have only brushed the face of the bat rather than the edge, again a tricky one but the third umpire is convinced. 423/7
23 | 5 | 35 | 1 | 1.52 | 118 | 3 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
60.4 to Younis Khan, Morkel bowls a snorter of a delivery to get rid of Younis! Short and on the body, too quick even for the experienced Younis, the ball was rearing up towards his chest, Younis had to quickly fend it off with his glove, lobbed up and Alviro ran forward from gully and took it falling forward. 178/3

43.6 to Shan Masood, Masood has been given out lbw and after an eternity he decides to review it but the time had lapsed, at normal speed it looked plumb and the umpire raised the finger immediately, tossed up from round the wicket, lands on middle and off, he was forward to defend, didn't cover the line, hit on the pads and that would have hit the leg stump, Masood knew he was in trouble, he walked to the other end after walking past the umpire showed the review signal but it was too late. That was plumb. 135/1 117.4 to Asad Shafiq, four and OUT! Shafiq falls just after his fifty, Duminy tossed it up on the pads, Shafiq looked to chip it over the on side, tamely lobbed it to Alviro at short midwicket who takes it easily. 372/5

10.4 to AN Petersen, Petersen gets squared up by another short one from Irfan! Irfan gets his steep bounce working, Petersen was a little late in getting his glove out of the way, he swayed backwards to evade it, gloved it to Akmal and the umpire was convinced and Petersen had to go. 38/1
18 | 1 | 57 | 3 | 3.16 | 77 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
18.3 to JH Kallis, that was plumb and Kallis walks! The angle from round the wicket works for Junaid, moving back in and Kallis was looking to play across the line, struck on the pads in front of middle and leg. 58/3 40.6 to JP Duminy, oh this is good! Junaid makes it a doubly good morning for Pakistan and Duminy has been sent packing with a full delivery that came in and hit him right in front of the middle stump. The batsmen have a conference about using a review, but that was as plumb as you get, Duminy beaten by the inswing there. The third umpire is looking for an inside edge, it's more of a call in hope of something. Is there a nick there? There seems to be some deviation as the ball passes the bat. But the third umpire, in the absence of hot spot, sticks with the on-field call.. 109/6 70.5 to AB de Villiers, and just when there were some sign of worry for Pakistan cropping up and SA were starting to look for a hope, Junaid has struck! AB punches the length delivery on the up and fails to keep it down, it's straight into the hands of the cover fielder who takes a comfortable waist-high catch.. 190/8
32.4 | 7 | 74 | 4 | 2.26 | 147 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
17.3 to GC Smith, Appeal for a stumping and Smith's in trouble! Ajmal gives it more air, Smith was down the track and completely beaten in flight, Akmal fumbled, picked u the ball from the turf and immediately broke the stumps, Smith was so far down the crease that he couldn't get back in time. 57/2 56.6 to F du Plessis, that is a super catch! One of those reflex ones! There is not going to be a Faf special today! It was a tossed up delivery and the batsman came out of the crease to drive it down the pitch, he pushed it straight back towards the bowler, who just stuck his right hand out to snaffle that low. Immediate strike by Pakistan after lunch. 133/7 82.2 to VD Philander, make all the fun of Akmals you want to, but this time Adnan holds on to a good catch! It popped out in the first instance though, but Adnan managed to catch it in the second instance. The batsman played that delivery from the crease and caught a thick outside edge on that, and that ball was gaining height as it went past the bat, that's why, even after the juggling act, a good catch. 232/9 82.4 to M Morkel, and he picks up another one to wrap up the SA innings, Morne gets a thick leading edge back to the bowler, easiest of catches. 232/10
19 | 6 | 51 | 2 | 2.68 | 83 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
25.1 to HM Amla, Babar strikes first ball! Amla was squared up by one that turned from round the wicket, Amla failed to cover the line, wanted to defend, thick outside edge landed safely in Akmal's gloves, classic left-arm spinner's wicket. 72/4 37.3 to DW Steyn, and he makes impact straightaway! Steyn, after all the patience, steps down the pitch and pushes at this full delivery outside the line of the ball, he misses and it hits off and middle. He was not going for the big shot really, just came forward for a tame push, the ball didn't turn and kept coming in with the angle. 104/5 |

2.6 to Azhar Ali, and there comes wicket no. 2! After bowling four deliveries wide outside off, he bowls this one closer to the stumps and he has been getting that away movement consistently. Azhar comes forward, gets a thick outside edge that settles into the mitts of Kallis at second slip. 7/2

1.2 to Shan Masood, and Philander strikes straightaway! It was one of those Philander specials, bowled on a length around the middle stump and Masood wasn't sure whether to go forward to backwards. He stays in the crease and has a poke at that one, ends up giving a simple catch to the keeper. Not much reaction from the SA fielders. 4/1 3.3 to Khurram Manzoor, and he has to walk in now! It's a length delivery on off stump, moves a touch away, draws the batsman into the shot, and AB takes an easy catch. 7/3
