Overview

Sutton's Cheam Road ground hosted one John Player League match between Surrey and Derbyshire in 1969. Sutton were formed in 1857, and their first pavilion, erected in 1865, was a waiting room from Sutton station which was thatched and painted white. It is still there, although no longer used as a pavilion.
