Priyansh Arya smashes six sixes in an over in Delhi Premier League

He shared a 286-run stand with Ayush Badoni who smashed 165 off 55 balls as South Delhi piled on 308

Priyansh Arya channelled his inner Yuvraj Singh, becoming the latest entrant in the six-sixes-in-an-over club. Playing for South Delhi Superstarz in the Delhi Premier League [DPL], he smashed North Delhi Strikers spinner Manan Bharadwaj six times over the boundary in the 12th over of the first innings. Bharadwaj, primarily a left-arm spinner, also sent down a delivery right-handed to stop the carnage, but to no avail. All of Arya's sixes were in the V, straight over the bowler's head.
Arya reached his hundred - his second of the season - off just 40 balls. He finished on 120 off 50 with ten fours and ten sixes. But his wasn't the only innings of note for South Delhi. Captain Ayush Badoni at the other end went one step further. He brought up a century off 39 balls, finishing on 165 off just 55 balls, at a strike rate of 300 with his innings including eight fours and 19 sixes.
Badoni and Arya had a partnership of 286 for the second wicket. Their stand helped South Delhi rack up 308 for 5 in their 20 overs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. It must be noted though that the DPL numbers are not classified under T20 stats.
