Mignon du Preez's bizarre run-out

Mignon du Preez was at the non-striker's end with Brisbane Heat needing another 118 runs to win from 85 balls against Adelaide Strikers when a shot from batter Georgia Voll hit du Preez's foot and rebounded onto the stumps, dislodging the bails. Some quick thinking from bowler Amanda Jade-Wellington turned it into a dismissal - she uprooted a stump and touched the ball to it - and du Preez had to walk back for 1. Strikers went on to win by 59 runs.

India' fielding coach T Dilip is getting more and more imaginative with the delivery of his best fielder award in the Indian dressing room. It also seems to be the medal that the players are most keen to get. How's he going to top this one?
In Lucknow after India's World Cup win over England, he plunged the whole stadium into darkness before lighting up the winner's name.
In Dharamsala, after they beat New Zealand, he got the Spidercam to deliver the medal to Shreyas Iyer.

Not often that you get to see a run-out at the non-striker's end effected by the wicketkeeper! Kusal Mendis had a keen eye in spotting Adil Rashid wandering outside his crease and his direct throw reduced England to 147 for 9 in their World Cup game in Bengaluru.
