The Darrell Hair Affair

The Darrell Hair Affair

Pakistan forfeited the 2006 Oval Test against England after being accused by umpire Darrell Hair of ball-tampering. They were subsequently cleared and Hair sidelined out of international umpiring, leading him to sue over alleged racial discrimination. Hair made a comeback to Test umpiring in mid-2008.
