TEAMS

Having emigrated from Pakistan, Aamir Kaleem has been in and out of Oman's ODI and T20I teams since 2012, and is one of their most experienced players.

A left-arm batter and spinner, Kaleem moved up from No. 11 into the middle order, but ended up contributing more through his left-arm spin (and memorably ran out Mark Chapman - then playing for Hong Kong - at the non-striker's end during the 2016 Asia Cup qualifying round).

Kaleem found himself out of the team in early 2022 for a period of time, but made a comeback in both formats in late 2024, this time as an opener, and has become a regular since.

His first international half-century came when he hit an unbeaten 72 off 50 balls in a T20I against USA in February 2025.
