David Sayer, a left-arm quick, made his first-class debut for Leicestershire in a Championship Division Two clash with Warwickshire at Grace Road in 2018 within days of his elder brother Rob, an offspinner, being released by the county. He had also been playing for the Minor Counties side Cambridgeshire.Both players are products of Peterborough Town CC.
