Born in Australia, Duncan Allan was the second young player to be produced for Kenya by Cranleigh School in England following in the footsteps of Seren Waters. An allrounder, Allan was the Player of the Tournament in the ICC Under-19 World Cup Qualifier in 2011 for his 14 wickets and 455 runs, and played Twenty20 for the senior team at the World Cricket League. He was awarded a Kenya central contract in September 2011.
