Nathu Singh

Rajasthan fast bowler Nathu Singh burst into the limelight with figures of 7 for 87 on debut against Delhi in Ranji Trophy 2015-16. Subsequently, he earned a place in the Board President XI's squad for a two-day warm-up fixture against the visiting South Africans, and impressed many with natural pace. Nathu, son of a labourer in a wire factory near Jaipur, was trained under Glenn McGrath at the MRF Pace Academy in Chennai. However, he couldn't find a place in the Jaipur district side and had to play for Sikkar, which is hardly known for its cricket. His fortune changed again at the IPL auction where he was picked up for INR 3.2 crores by Mumbai Indians.
