Another banged in short pitched ball attacking the stumps, Sampson tries to get away from the line of the ball but is slow to react, only manages to fend it down with the inside part of the bat. The short ball proves to be a problem for Quinton Sampson once again! He falls for a duck, as Kieron Pollard dives forward to take a low catch in front of him.. 3/1 | ||||||||||

Good length ball flighted on middle-leg and sharp turn away from the batter, plays a nothing shot in the end down the wrong line, deceived by the turn and flight and the bails are flying! Dot balls were piling up for Hope, and he tried to rotate the strike by going across the line, but he got beaten all ends up.. 51/3 11.6 to SO Hetmyer, chipped in the air and gone! Short of a length ball pitching around off, clears the front leg and tries to go downtown, does not get quite hold of it, strikes it flat and hard towards long on.
