4.5 to MT Renshaw, nicked and taken at second slip! Back of a length in the channel and this one, like a couple of balls ago, decks away off the surface. Renshaw goes fishing at it, dangles his bat and gets a thick outside edge that is scooped up low by Padikkal. Smart catch and Siraj is on the board!. 12/1
10 | 0 | 58 | 2 | 5.80 | 34 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 4 | |
5.5 to J Goodwin, and he gets a wicket immediately. Goes wider on the crease, just short of a length, holds its line against that wide angle, and takes the outside edge through to Pant. 22/2 37.6 to SJ Konstas, Konstas finally goes. Top-edges a pull, which Saini catches running in from deep forward square leg. Konstas raises his bat to the appreciative crowd. 205/8
6 | 0 | 44 | 4 | 7.33 | 22 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
22.4 to J Clayton, knocks him over! Back of a length, pitching in the fourth stump channel. Clayton is caught on the crease, perhaps expecting the short ball and is hurried into his stroke, because of the sharp inward movement and the pace off the surface. Cannot get his bat down in time, and the ball clips the top of middle and off stump. Clayton walks off dejected; Rana, more relieved!. 131/3 22.6 to O Davies, stumps disturbed again, and Rana has two in the over! Zipped in full on middle and leg. Davies, perhaps pre-empting the short ball, does not move his feet much. Tries to work it away to leg and ends up missing a straight ball. Hears the death rattle soon after, and Rana's day, in a matter of minutes, has become much better!. 131/4 24.1 to J Edwards, in the air and taken at long leg! Dug into the track on middle and off. Edwards looks for the swivel-pull but seems to be a little early into it. Maybe the ball held up just a shade. He skies it and Krishna, running to his left from long leg, makes no mistake whatsoever. Rana has three wickets in his last four balls, and India have dismissed half of their opposition!. 133/5 24.3 to SB Harper, copy and paste! Straight down long leg's throat, and Rana is running through the Prime Minister's XI! Another short ball, slanting into the hips. Harper looks to help it on its way but all he does is pick Krishna out to perfection. He got a bigger chunk of it than Edwards, although the end result was the same. Four wickets in no time for Harshit Rana!. 133/6
6 | 0 | 37 | 1 | 6.16 | 19 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
25.3 to AP O'Connor, straight to point, and that will be the end of O'Connor! Another delivery that pitches in the bowler's half. This has width too and O'Connor looks to slap it away. Cannot get on top of it, though, and pops it straight to Reddy. O'Connor is disappointed; India all over their opposition!. 138/7
6.2 | 0 | 38 | 1 | 6.00 | 15 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | |
43.2 to H Jacobs, another slog but this time for a diving catch for Jadeja at midwicket, which brings this innings to an end. 240/10

42.5 to J Nisbet, hit hard but straight down the throat of short midwicket. 236/9 |

16.3 to YBK Jaiswal, gone straight up. Jaiswal looks to clear the front leg and loft him back over his head but ends up getting too much under it and skies it for a catch at cover. 75/1 20.3 to RG Sharma, taken at slip. Can't keep resisting the drive. Again wide and asking him to drive. Rohit has a go, and the ball nibbles a little to take the edge to first slip. 90/2

33.1 to K Nitish Kumar Reddy, Pope gets Reddy! Floated up nicely on off stump. Reddy tries to smash it into next week and loses shape. Misses the ball completely and it goes on to hit off stump. Reddy was looking for quick runs and in that pursuit, he has perished!. 182/3

40.6 to RA Jadeja, goes straight up, and Renshaw has a wicket! Throws up the bait, full just outside off. Jadeja cannot resist the temptation and has a massive slog across the line. Cuts across the ball too much, though, and only gets height. Renshaw circles and circles and circles under it, before eventually holding onto it. Went for the reverse-cup and got the job done!. 219/4
2 | 0 | 11 | 1 | 5.50 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
43.3 to SN Khan, strangled down leg - would you believe it! Back of a length, speared down leg. Sarfaraz, who wanted to spend some time at the crease, looks to help it fine but all he manages is a faint tickle through to Harper. The appeal was unanimous, and the umpire's decision prompt. Rohit, sitting in the dugout, covers his face with his palms. Fair to say that is an outcome neither India nor Sarfaraz would have wanted!. 245/5 |
